Fun Spot Atlanta Competes with Alabama Adventure
Two Parks Wager to Put Their Roller Coasters Where Their Mouth Is
ATLANTA, Georgia – January 7, 2022 – Fun Spot Atlanta Theme Park, Atlanta’s only family-owned theme park is a HUGE supporter of The University of Georgia Bulldogs and their quest for the National Championship against the University of Alabama Crismon Tide. The owner of the Fayetteville, Georgia theme park, John Arie Jr. is very excited that the Bulldogs are competing for the title and has so much confidence in a Bulldog victory that he arranged for an exciting wager with another family-owned theme park, Alabama Adventure Amusement Park in Bessemer, Alabama.
With the title game coming up this Monday night, John Arie, Jr. reached out to Dan Koch, owner of Alabama Adventure with a gentleman’s bet that the Georgia Bulldogs would be victorious in this historic rivalry game. The wager involves a temporary renaming of one of each parks featured attractions. Alabama Adventure will rename their star roller coaster Rampage to “Bulldog Rampage” or Fun Spot Atlanta will rename Eagle Coaster to “Crimson Tide Eagle.”
John Arie Jr, said, “Who will win is a toss-up, but at Fun Spot Atlanta we have HUGE faith that the Dawgs will prevail in victory!”
